History
Individual members enjoy researching and presenting talks (long or short) on their own choice of historical subjects, some ancient, some within living memory. At a couple of meetings short talks are encouraged lasting ten minutes or so. Read more

Genealogy
The purpose of the group is to research family history, including community-based research such as war memorials etc. on an individual basis. It is hoped tohave occasional speakers, subject to cost and outings on a similar basis. Anyone stuck on their research into a particular family or individual, might seek assistance from the group.
